Andrew Jehan, Customer Experience Specialist
I chose to join our D&I group as a way of being an active part of the change that we all want to see. Building an inclusive culture is such a collaborative process and I wanted to be there every step of the way. My passion really stems from getting to be the representation that, up until now, I'd never seen before, and that's really important to me.

Andrea Burris, Senior User Research Manager
Having a diverse and inclusive team is such an important part of helping people feel they belong and supporting everyone to deliver truly game-changing work. I want to see more diversity across all levels of tails.com and be a part of building an inclusive culture.

Lai-Ping Lai, Chief Product Officer
It is important to me that we celebrate and cherish our differences because ultimately it can unite us. So being in the D&I group is a fantastic way to work with a diverse group of us (as participation is not by seniority or role, but voluntary and by personal passion). Together, we aim to have a positive impact on our D&I culture at tails.com in tangible and intangible ways.

Jan-Sebastian Dreyer, CX L&D Specialist (Germany & Rest of Europe)
I’ve always wanted to live in a world that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diversity of people. I figured I can't change the whole world so I'm happy tails.com gives me the opportunity to have an impact within my work environment - I can share my ideas and thoughts as part of the BLM group to build a more inclusive and diverse environment. For me, D&I also requires constant work and self-reflection.

When I started working at tails.com, I’d just started undergoing the (very drawn out) process of ADHD diagnosis. While I’m still going through the process, this group of absolute angels have never treated me any differently than they do those who’ve got a diagnosis. For the first time ever in a workplace, I have a place I can be 100% myself, with no judgement and no limits to the support offered. It’s helped me understand myself better, and been an incredibly valuable safe place to chat with those who really understand. It helps me bring the focus back to work and it has also helped my personal life too as I can get out frustrations and let go of all that's in my busy brain! If you are neurodiverse, there will always be a place for you here with us!

Being able to bring my true self to work and having a safe space is really invaluable! This is the first company for me, where I found an active group of people with whom I can relate and feel supported sharing whatever I need. It is a group that respects confidentiality and at the same time is open to support from the smallest advice you may need to the greatest help. Either this is social, personal or professional, I can always count on them! Being queer seems so much easier in an environment like this!
