Our recruitment process
-
Where are your roles based?
We have an office in Richmond and factories in Heathrow, Slough and Amstelveen in the Netherlands. Some of our roles, in departments such as Customer Experience or Software Engineering, can also be offered as fully remote.
-
Do you keep past candidates' applications for future openings?
It's best to keep an eye on our careers page and submit a new application for any position of interest. Our system logs all the applications we get, so we can keep candidates in mind for other roles if they stand out. These are, however, removed after 12 months due to GDPR.
-
How would my data be used?
You can find all the information you need on how we store and process your data in our Candidate Privacy Notice.
-
Can I apply via email?
Unfortunately, we do not accept applications via email. All live roles will be advertised on our careers page, which is where you should apply. Alternatively, if there are no vacancies of interest, you can submit your CV by clicking the “Connect” button - you will then get notifications when new roles are posted.
-
Where can I find more information about tails.com?
To find out more about us please check out our workplace, culture and diversity, what it is like to work here and lifeattails.com blog - this will help you get a better feel for who we are! And if you’re interested in a role in software engineering, take a look at our public career frameworks.
-
How do you support disabilities, both visible and nonvisible?
As a business we are inclusive and are able to make reasonable adjustments to suit all disabilities. Should this ever be on your mind, please do reach out to the Talent Team (careers@tails.com) who will be able to help you.

What does your interview process look like?
We want to give everyone a fair chance to join us in changing the world of pet food for good. We do this by conducting a structured recruitment process for all candidates, as well as actively promoting our roles to communities that are under-represented at tails.com.
If you would like to see more information about the recruitment process for a specific role you can find this on the job advert.
