Changing the world of pet food for good
We’re Tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique Tails.com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It’s clever stuff.
We’ve got bold plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re now scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. You’ll join a bunch of smart people working towards the same goals – and a bunch of smart-ish dogs, all working on their own thing.

Our Brand team
Our Brand team is a united force of Brand Management, our in-house Creative Studio, and Product Design, working across the business to weave our brand magic into every customer touchpoint - sparking desire and building trust in Tails.com.

The role
As we continue to scale globally, we’re looking for a Brand Manager to help us tell our story in bigger, bolder, and more meaningful ways. Reporting to the Head of Brand, this role is pivotal in defining how and where the brand shows up – from campaigns and creative to social media and community engagement. You’ll lead brand storytelling across channels, ensuring we show up consistently and with impact where it matters most to our customers.
You will be responsible for:
Brand Management & Guardianship
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated brand campaigns – from audience insight and creative brief through to go-live and performance review
- Work closely with our Creative Studio and cross-functional partners (Proposition, NPD, Marketing and more) to bring brand ideas to life – ensuring everything we produce is aligned to our strategy, creatively strong and delivered to a high standard
- Act as a brand guardian across all touchpoints – from packaging to social, digital and PR – ensuring consistency in messaging, tone of voice and visual identity
Social Media & Community
- Lead our approach to social media as a key brand-building channel – shaping strategy and guiding content that drives reach, relevance and emotional connection with dog owners
- Champion the role of community in deepening brand love – activating our engaged audience of Tails.com advocates by celebrating real moments, sparking conversation and building loyalty
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Support the Head of Brand in developing and delivering strategies that grow awareness, consideration, engagement and loyalty across all channels
- Keep a finger on the pulse of consumer behaviour, market trends and competitor activity – surfacing insights to shape long-term brand direction and differentiation
Brand Planning & Ops
- Own the brand calendar, ensuring alignment with key business priorities and integrated marketing plans
- Track brand performance and campaign effectiveness – using data to evaluate impact, identify opportunities and inform future planning
- Support budget management, agency partnerships and operational planning to deliver brilliant work at pace

Here’s a taster of how our recruitment process works:
- Once you have applied, your CV will be reviewed by the Hiring Manager
- If selected, you will then have a video call with the Hiring Manager to understand more about your skills and experience (30 mins)
- Should you be successful, the next stage will be a video call with our Brand Director (30 mins)
- If successful, you will be invited to present a task back to a panel of interviewers from the Brand and Marketing Team (60 mins)
- The final stage is a video call with our People Team (30 mins)
