We’re looking for a German-speaking Performance Marketing Executive to join our Performance Marketing team at tails.com. This individual will be instrumental in supporting the Performance Marketing Manager - Germany with the delivery of the Performance Marketing Plan for Germany.

We’re tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique tails.com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It’s clever stuff.
We’ve got ambitious plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re now scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. In Performance Marketing, it’s our job to inspire people to try tails.com for the first time across our broad diverse channel mix, firing up their interest in our food and setting up their dog for a lifetime of health and happiness.

The role
You will report into the Performance Marketing Manager - Germany to support with the delivery of the Performance Marketing Plan for Germany.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting with the day-to-day relationship with partners, agencies and contractors as appropriate to ensure the delivery of plans in Germany
- Channel areas of responsibility - to develop and deliver activity for Affiliates, Partnerships and Influencers
- Supporting with the delivery of regular PCAs for the Affiliate, Partnerships and Influencer channels in Germany
- Working closely with the Brand Marketing Executive - Germany and channel best practice to ensure brand guidelines for Germany is used for channel creative development
- Supporting with delivering the regular channel forecast and reporting cadence for Germany
- Working closely with the Performance Marketing Manager - Germany to ensure the impact of the forecast supports the overall German Commercial Plan
The skills you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a Performance Marketing role (or closely related), agency or client-side for the German market
- Must have native level German language proficiency - written and verbal
- Experience working on the planning and delivery of performance channels including: Partnerships, Affiliates and Influencers
- Basic understanding of the interplay of all performance marketing channels and investment
- Eager to develop an understanding of performance marketing channels and the appropriate application for tails.com
- Knowledge of tracking and appropriate reporting cadence, including GA4, digital attribution, LTV:CAC, etc.
- Good numeracy and analytical skills
- Good communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience working for a D2C / subscription / pet vertical / dog food brand
