We’re Tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique Tails.com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It’s clever stuff.
We’ve got bold plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re now scaling fast in the UK – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. In Marketing it’s our job to inspire people to try Tails.com for the first time across our broad diverse channel mix. Firing up their interest in our food and setting up their dog for a lifetime of health and happiness.

The role
Supporting the Marketing Manager on the delivery of the Paid Media channel plans
The things you’ll do:
Channel areas of responsibility - to develop and deliver activity for Paid Social and Paid Search across multiple platforms
Support the Marketing Manager in the the day-to-day relationship with agencies and internal teams as appropriate to ensure the delivery of plans in the UK
Support the planning and performance of Paid Social and Paid Search to deliver a matrix of KPIs
Work closely with brand, creative studio, digital product, customer service and other stakeholders in the marketing team to ensure the brand guidelines, messaging, creative are integrated across all campaigns to maximise customer growth and value
Supporting the Marketing Manager to deliver channel forecasts and reporting cadence for the UK
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to help deliver the overall commercial plan and targets
The skills you’ll bring:
1-2 years in a Digital Marketing role, agency or client-side for the UK market
Experience working on the planning & delivery of performance channels on Paid Social and Paid Search
Must have native level English language proficiency - oral and written
Good understanding of the interplay of all performance marketing channels and investment
Eager to develop an understanding of performance marketing channels and the appropriate application for tails.com
Knowledge of tracking and appropriate reporting cadence incl. GA4, digital attribution, LTV:CAC etc
Good numeracy and analytical skills
Good communication, organisation and stakeholder management skill
Experience working for a D2C / subscription / Pet Vertical / dog food brand useful

Here’s a taster of how our recruitment process works:
Once you have applied your CV will be reviewed by the Marketing Manager.
If selected, you will then have a video call with the Marketing Manager to understand more about your skills and experience (30 to 45 mins).
Should you be successful, the next stage will be a video call and you will be invited to present a task back to the Marketing Manager (60 mins).
The final stage is a video call with Senior Performance Marketing Manager and other relevant members of the Performance Marketing Team (30 mins).
