WHO ARE WE?
Hi, we're Tails.com.
A pet food subscription company with a big mission. We believe there should be no average dog food because no dog is average. So we deliver 100% tailored nutrition to each and every dog we serve.
It all starts with a few simple questions about your dog’s age, breed, activity level and flavour preferences. Then our experts create a one-in-a-million kibble blend – just for them. Everything they need and a taste they love, delivered to your door every month. It’s pretty clever stuff.
We’re cooking up big plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies.
In 2024, we became B Corp certified. But it's more than a badge, it's how we operate. Every member of our team is committed to upholding high social and environmental standards, to create a better world for dogs - and humans - for generations to come.

TAILS.COM THROUGHOUT THE YEARS

1st deliveries
We opened our 1st Factory in Heathrow and our first office "Kew Foot Road".
Started our Monday Midday Meeting "MMM" to discuss how the business was going, sharing projects others are working on and welcoming new Pack members.

1st birthday
While celebrating our 1st birthday, we launched our 15 wet food recipes and our first ever TV advert.

Made our MILLIONTH bag
This year marked the MILLIONTH bag produced. We launched our 1st treats: Dental Dailies & released 1st puppy recipe.

Updated look for the brand
This year saw us overhaul our branding. We then launched good dog treats. And one of our office dogs Noodle ate the company credit card (photo available)

We hired our 100th pack member
Not only did we welcome our 100th Pack member, we received investment from Nestle Purina Petcare. Our L&D offering began rolling out our first ever official "inDOGtion" (that is an induction for those not at tails.com).

We published our first book, The Happy Dog Cookbook
Alongside our book launch. Our pack celebrated our French launch by cycling to Paris from Richmond.

EU expansion
We launched in Germany and 5 other European countries, opening our Amstelveen factory. And released our first and only hit single, Raise The Woof! Which was heard all over the world.

Republic of Cats launched
Moving into the cat world, Republic of Cats was born and within that year we produced our 10,000th bag.

Back in person
Being back in person we held our first event, Bark Run! Following the success of our other launches we released our premium wet food range.

New launches
As of February we officially released tails.com in Sainsbury's and Ocado. Meanwhile launching our flea and tick subscriptions.

Nestlé acquisition
Nestlé acquires the remainder of Tails.com shares. We keep doing things our way but gain even more support and expertise to make a real difference in the world of pet food.

We turn 10!
Tails.com gets a 10th-anniversary glow-up and a big idea: Never Average – because there’s no such thing as an average dog.

Our pack is everything! We genuinely care about everyone’s health and happiness. It’s not just about getting things done; we know life is about so much more. We’re all about making sure everyone feels fully supported and valued.
We understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and having someone to chat to can really make a difference. That’s why we wholeheartedly support the role of Mental Health First Aiders. Whether you work in one of our offices or remotely, none of our pack members should have to face challenges alone, there’s always a lending ear when it’s needed.

We’re always super excited to welcome
a new mini member to the Pack – Tails.com will top-up your statutory entitlement to make sure you receive six months of leave at 70% average pay. -
Balance
To boost mental and physical wellbeing we work a 9 day fortnight. Essentially this means out of every 10 days we work 9 - we take every other Friday as a non-working day (unless there’s a bank holiday).
We’ve embraced the benefits of hybrid working, empowering our Pack members to work in a way that optimises wellbeing and productivity.

It’s no secret, we love dogs. So we allow our team to bring their canine companions to work with them.
Dogs keep us focused on what matters most – them.
We also offer a 50% discount on Tails.com for your dog or you can gift this to a friend or family member.

Time for you
25 days holiday in your first 2 years, increasing to a maximum of 27 days, plus bank holidays.
There’s a whole world out there – and we know that travel can recharge our batteries and spark creativity. So you can apply to work from anywhere for up to two weeks every six months (pro-rated for those on part-time hours).

Each year, we give our pack a day to volunteer with an organisation they love.
Our "opportunity bank" has plenty of options, focusing on wildlife, nature, and community projects. There are so many great opportunities to explore!
