That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a talented and driven Product Manager to join the team at tails.com and to be a customer-led champion of our digital products.

Reporting to Ben, you’ll be leading one of our squads - delivering improvements to how we introduce customers to tails through our signup journey, as well as helping customers discover and try more of our amazing range of products. This means figuring out what we should be building through smart discovery and prioritisation, working collaboratively and cross-functionally to deliver change, and closing the loop by measuring success, and ensuring that we’re always learning.

Requirements


The role

As Product Manager for the “Growth” squad you’ll focus on continuously optimising the foundations of our digital customer experience. This is a cross-functional team that also includes a UX designer and team of developers that have responsibility for creating a truly tailor-made product.

The role involves working alongside our Marketing team on top-of-funnel pages, optimising across our signup flow, and developing new and better ways for customers to add products from our range in signup and in-life.

The role is varied, and includes managing a backlog of activities to optimiste our on-site conversion (OSC) rate and running ongoing A/B testing on our signup funnel.


About you

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have previously worked in an eCommerce focused role

  • You have experience with running Conversion Rate Optimisation activity on an ecommerce funnel, including working knowledge of A/B and MVT testing techniques and optimisation and analytics tools

  • You are great at understanding and breaking down complex problems

  • You are an innovative thinker - which when coupled with your ability to listen (to data, feedback, reviews, dog owners in the park) enables new, different and better solutions

  • You are a shrewd and commercially-minded decision maker, with an ability to balance creativity with highly analytical thinking

  • You are team spirited, calm under pressure and an expert at working with different working styles

  • You are empathetic, and excited to better understand both our customers’ needs and business objectives
